GET TO KNOW SOUTH FLORIDA WEEKEND

OCTOBER 10 and 11, 2009

Continuing a tradition started last year our Inbounds got a chance to know what south Florida has to offer - up close.  Starting off at an alligator farm they saw a bunch of really big gators being fed, then one crazy individual "wrestling" a gator.  They each got to hold a snake and a baby gator (if they wanted to) and what turns out to be a highlight of the weekend, Roy Joseph almost gets kissed by a boa!  Then it was off to Everglades National Park for a quick tour of the River of Grass.

On Sunday a boat trip to downtown Miami followed by swimming and jumping off the top of the boat capped of an awesome weekend.

Loads of thanks to Diane Landsberg for again opening her home to the Youth Exchange students, and to Captain Todd Lary for the the scenic boat trip.
