Here comes a report about saying good bye and thank you.

I will start with my last days in Florida; I went on a tour through the US with 51 other exchange students and I can tell you it was more than awesome!!!! We saw so much of the US we went to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Hollywood, San Diego, New York, Washington Dc,...The tour ended in Chicago and I really enjoyed it even though saying good bye to my new and old friends from the tour was very hard.

When I came home to Florida I had about 4 days left with my host family so we went together to Tampa and stayed over night. We went to Bush Gardens and had sooo much fun riding so  amazing rollercoasters!!!
On my last day I had to say good bye to my host family; it was so hard and sad, I was crying so bad...

Now comes the thank you part:
I would like to start with my host families;

the Tecosky family:
thank you for letting me stay at your house, for helping me with so much stuff that needed to be done when I first arrived ( I remember how much paperwork it was to get me into school ;) )

the Levy family:
thank you for taking me to Peru!!!!!!! It was amazing and I learned soo much about a different culture! I had a great time living in Pembroke Falls and being able to go everyday to the "club house".

the Corredor families:
thank you for everything! Thanks to each one of you for being the way you are! I had a wonderful time whenever we did something together! Living and hanging out with you was always fun!
Of course a special thanks to my host mom Ligia who brought me into her life and her family’s life.

To all of the host families:
Each family was great. They gave me a home and shared their family-life with me and for that I am so thankful!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody who reads this should think about hosting an exchange student, it is a wonderful experience and it will change his/her and your life!

Exchange students!!!!!!!!!
All people told me that the other exchange students are going to be my best friends and I will hang out with them the most. When we got together the first time we did not talk that much because our English was not that good and I thought we would never be best friends...Well, things changed; you guys became my best friends and our friendships will last forever!! Thanks to all of you!!!

This exchange year was the best year of my life!!!! There will be so many people and so many things that I will miss so much and I will always know that Rotary made this possible. Rotary Youth Exchange is such a great program I would never be able to find the right words to describe ROTARY!!! Rotary was a family for me and it will always be! Being a Rotarian should make each one of you proud and those who are not yet Rotarians should go to visit the nearest club from where you live. You will see what great things Rotary accomplished and will accomplish! I cannot thank rotary enough but I will try:
