On my first Thanksgiving I was woken up at 11 o'clock. Then my hostfather made a pumpkin pie and another pie. Then we my hostmother my hostfather and me we hit the road. We picked up my hostbrother and my hostsister. Then we drove to my hostfathers family. We arrived at 1o'clock. I said hello to everybody and then I gave the host a German bottle of wine. There was a beautiful buffet outside at the pool with turkey, maccarone cheese, mashed potatos, stuffing, green beans and corn. Then there were some jams and sweet potatos. I had like 3 helpings and after that I was stuffed. Then I played with the kids there a round of pool-billiard. After that we went outside and we threw the football and we played basketball. My hostfather watched the Miami Dolphins game on TV. Then in the afternoon we had coffee and cakes. And normally you should think that where everything is big the cakes should be big also but the cakes were small and flat but they were so nice. I talked with the relatives about Germany and football. Then we had to leave so I took one piece from every cake. We left and headed for Weston. Then in the evening we watched the Hurricanes football game. It was a very nice experience. And again very good food.
