My American Christmas

This year Christmas was very exciting because I was at "home" for Christmas. My home were the Ranches. Normally in Germany I am always on skiing holiday in Austria for Christmas. And in Germany the kids are a little early with opening their Christmas presents because we are allowed to open the Christmas presents on the 24th in the evening. On the 24th I went in the morning to church with my hostfamily. Then the day was actually pretty normal. I went to bed and had my nice sleep until......

Until some nasty guy appeared the other morning in my room after nine with a film camera and his nasty helper.

No it was not the Christmas man and his buddy and it was not Joseph with Maria and not the Grinch. It were my hostparents who came and wake me up and filmed me how I woke up. I looked at in on the DVD and it looked just so hilarious how I got out of my bed. After getting up I went to the Christmas tree. I first gave the dogs two treats each and then I gave my hostparents their presents. I put the presents which I got from Germany under the tree. I did not expect any presents from my hostparents because I told them that I was so happy to stay with them. But I got nice presents from them aswell. Then after opening the presents we breakfasted. Then we prepared a Christmas meal because some friends came over later and we had prime rib and turkey and other nice stuff. We had alot of fun and we sung carols. Then I went with the sons of one Guest to their house and slept over there. I would like to thank my hostparents for having such a lovely Christmas with me.
