Second Report

Part 5.....Finally.....The last part of my adventure

Belgium

Brussels

Well a few hours after we left Paris we arrived in Belgium....We went directly to our first stop....the Atomium ( I don’t know if that is also the English word for it but if its not then I don’t know what its called in English)....It was a nice sunny day and we just stayed there for a couple of hours to eat ice cream and relax...After our little break we left and headed to the hostel....Once we unpacked the bus we went for a walk to the city and had a little tour....We saw the Cathedral Saint-Michael and that was about it....We then had free time to go shopping and eat...Well boy did we eat that night....My group found a nice little place that had spaghetti for 3 euros.....We figured that it wouldn’t be that much food for that cheap but we decided to go anyways because we were hungry....Man were we wrong.....The plates of spaghetti were HUGE....I’m talkin, it could fed 2 of us and it would still be too much....Needless to say we were full after that meal but somehow we ended up making room for......WAFFLES!!!!!!.... OMG....I think those are the best things I have ever eaten in my life....It was so warm and had strawberries, chocolate, whip cream, and powder sugar on it.....I think that everyone, at least once in their life,  should go to Belgium just to have a waffle....They are the most amazing things ever......How do people come up with such good things to eat...You know, this is why exchange students gain weight...Anyways...to get back on track....After our free time was over we returned to the hostel and had free time there....We met another group of kids that were there and hung out for a while.....Then it was off to bed...

Brugge

On our second day in Belgium we woke up rather early and got on the bus and headed to Brugge....Brugge was a nice little place....nothing exciting but it was just a chill town...As soon as we arrived we had a little tour of the town and then we had a boat tour of the town.....It was a nice enjoyable ride....After our boat ride we had an hour to go shopping and eat if we wanted to....When our hour was up everyone met back at our meeting spot, arms full of chocolate....It was sooo cheap to buy chocolate so everyone bought sooo much.....We got back on the bus and headed back to Brussels... We returned to the hostel and got ready to go out for the night....Once we arrived in the city we had time to go eat dinner before we went to a club, so guess where we went.....That’s right....we went to spaghetti and of course waffles....After eating we all went to a club for our “Last Day Of The Tour” party....We had so much fun and when we had to leave nobody wanted to go....They had to force us out.....However, once we got back to the hostel the party continued and we didn’t go to bed until 5 am.....We would feel the after math when we had to leave....

Back to Germany

Well we were woken up at 7 am....Talk about no sleep....After we woke up everyone packed and had breakfast then went to the bus....Then we were off...On our way back to Germany...I don’t think any of us wanted to go back.....We all had such a great time on the Euro Tour and it was all possible because of what Rotary does for us....If it weren’t for Rotary who knows what we would do....So, THANK YOU Rotary for everything that you have done for me....You have truly made my dreams come true....I will never forget anything that has happened....Thank You again....
