To start off I would just like to say that nothing to exciting has happened in the past month or so...After my return from Disney and the start of school everything has been going kind of slowly...For the rest of January absolutly NOTHING happened..It wasn't until February 3rd that something interesting happend...On the 3rd my district had a welcome meeting for all the new inbounds that just arrived in January..Most of the oldies went to the meeting to greet them and introduce ourselves...They were so Quite...I hope we OLDIES weren't like that when we arrived...Anyway, they were all realy nice and happy that we came to meet them....

The next big thing that happend was Valentine's Day....Valentine's Day here is so different then back home....I'm used to seeing people walk around with big balloons, flowers, chocolates, and stuffed animals, but here they are much more discreet ( i dont know if thats the right word buts its the only one that came to mind). In my school the girls would walk around with a single flower that their boyfriends got them, so for me that was a big difference...Later in the evening some of my friends and i went out to dinner together and just had a good time...That was my Valentine's Day...

On the 15th of February started Karnaval...Karnaval here is a time when everyone gets dressed up (like Halloween), goes to the city and gets drunk...Don't worry i didn't follow in the tradition of going to the city and getting drunk....Instead, from the 17th to the 19th of February we had a Rotex weekend...During this weekend we went to the city, and the Aqua Zoo, and received information about EURO TOUR...On the last day of the weekend we all got dressed up and went to the city to watch the parade...They had some interesting floats...I cannot go into detail...After the parade was over we returned to where we were staying, got our things together and went home...We won't see each other until the EURO TOUR..which is on the 14th of MArch...I can't wait...


Since the Rotex weekend i have started to take piano lessons and i have gone to the Picasso Art Museum..other then that nothing interesting has happened....Thankfully I will be leaving soon to go on my EURO TOUR for a month and i will have lots to tell you when i get back...So i guess until next time....
