well its
been awhile,
ima start off with my brasilian carnaval which was febuary 16-20.....i
headed to Camboriu, Santa Catarina, its a metropolitan people with about
100,000 people living in it.....until carnaval, during th eweek of
carnaval the population is estimated at about 2 million people, yea just a
small increase of people. Well i head there with my friend Kevin (hes form
switzerland and leaves in Curtiba), and his family. friday morning i took
a 13 hour bus ride from londirna to camboriu...lots of fun. well friday
night we headed out to a world famous club called IBIZA, its was beyond
imagionably packed, plus the by 4am you were dancing in foam up to your
neck, our club exprince ended at 830, so all of saturday we slept...then
saturday night we went to a FATBOY Slim concert. the concert was held in a
large parking lot, there was about 10,000 people there, plus it never
stoped raining it was quit crazy. the concert finally ended at 10am, so
once again we slept all day. sunday night we headed out to another club
called BATURITE, this club had three dance floors one of brasilian music,
the other of hip-hop, and the last of house techno, electronic music, the
third dance floor(electronic one) by 5am was yet again filled with foam.
we left the club there earliest, at 8am. as u would guess, we slept all
day. monday ngiht we met up with kevins host cusin and her firends(they
live in camboriu) and we went out for the final ngiht to yet another club
called, BALI HI. there had four different dance floors, and 1000s of
people. as u would figure we left at 9am. by tuesday i was dead, luckily
for me i had a nice 13 hour bus ride i could sleep on. well that consist
of my brasilian carnaval.
about two weeks after carnaval on march 3rd i swithed host families. i am
now living in the 13th floor of an amazin apartment building in downtown.
in this family i have 2 host-brother though one i will not met cause he is
currently doing exchange in india right now. i am really enjoying my new
family they are extremely nice and allow me to do what i please. Plus, the
apartment location is the best out of all the exchange student in my city,
eheheh, i live 3 blocks form the main shopping district, 1 block form
where i do capoeira, and many other amazing locations within 3 blocks.
i am now 1 and a half months back into the new school year, i am now in
the third year(the final year of high school here), its nice to be back
wiht my firneds from school, but its dificult now, because they are always
studing for the entrance exam for the colleges. yea, its 10 months away
and their studing like its a week away, i think its crazy, haah.
this week i have 2 days off for easter break, and the rodeo is coming this
week too, (remeber my city is like the country capital of brasil, the
rodeo is going to be huge!!!!!!!
on april 12, i will be heading to foz do iguacu, cant wait!!,
