The Scenery

Oh, la beauté, la beauté, la beauté. Words can not express how magnificent the scenery here in France is. The mountains, the streams containing fluttering ducks, the clusters of sun flowers in random areas and the heaps of oak and apple trees placed on the side of a pathway are just amazing to view. The cultural differentiation in terms of the architecture also amazes me. The old roman architecture still exists in some places in France, and it is the prettiest thing that the eyes can behold. I love it.

Moreover, every other evening I go for an hour long run/jog/power walk by the canal near my home; the scenery there is so beautiful. I run with two streams trickling on the side of me, a waterfall to my right, apple trees, oak trees and a rail road track which runs over my head. Also, near my jogging path, there is a farm consisting of over 20 cows and 5 horses. The view is unbelievable.

In Belfort, there is a lot of Sculptures and about two or three gardens. The gardens/parks are truly a sight to see. I could go on for days just describing how brilliantly colored the flowers and plants are and how the sculptures give such a warm aura to the garden, however I won’t, otherwise this report would be rather lengthy (and I don’t want to bore you).

Nevertheless, it is now the season of autumn, and the leaves have started to golden, so the scenery is changing. But the scenery I await for is that which winter brings. I can not wait to see how the snow sits on top of the mountains and how the air causes all things to freeze; this is a site I am dying to see. Yet, it will all come in time.
