Ari's Report

Date X, 2007

Hi everybody!

This is my second report of the year. Oh boy the last few months have been fun! We've been to Key West and Disney World with the exchange students. Those trips are one of my best memories of this year :)

In Key West we really got to know each other and we got to spend a lot of time together. We saw the sunset on a catamaran cruise, we toured around the town and of course we wore out the swimming pool during the nights at the hotel!

Well, Key West was awesome but it even got better in Disney World. Everybody was already comfortable with each other and from the beginning of the trip it was fun. There was our little group plus students from Northern Florida and Pennsylvania. I would say that there were about 60 students. Imagine that. We got to spend four days in Disney and I can honestly say that they were one the best days of my life :) I can't wait to go to seacamp in two weeks.

So what about christmas break, you might ask. Well, the break started on the 22. and it lasted until the ninth of January. Three whole weeks without school!! On christmas eve we went to church in the morning. It was a huge Baptist church. The whole seremony was quite different to the one in a Lutheran church and I liked it a lot! In the evening we went to my "grandpa's" house and we spend the christmas there. I even got presents!!!! I quess I was good last year :D

On the 26. one of my best friends, Markus, came from Indiana to Florida to visit me for a week. He's an exchange student too. Those six days were great!! On new year's eve we had big party at my house and I invited all the exchange students and my "mom" invited other people. There were about 35 people. We watched the ball drop in New York and we partied!!! ;) Everybody I had invited stayed over for the night and of course we didn't sleep to much :D:D

On the third of January Markus had to leave, unfortunately. Imagine how bad he wanted to stay in Florida and not go back to gloomy Indiana!! :D:D

Yeap, that's a small part of the things that have happened. Of course all of this is made possible by Rotary and I would like to thank the whole organization from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU ROTARY!!!!!!!
