OK I would like to start out by saying that my new year...was a bust =(. I made friends with a Turkish/Canadian soccer player and i was supposed to go to Antalia with him, but his coach called him ON A HOLIDAY and I couldnt come so I ended up staying at a hotel for the night. I hung out with the Turkish police that night (no I didnt do anything) because they saw me and said "hey do you speak English?". Then I got to talking with them and so when I was done it was 3;00 in the morning. So that night I spent the night at a hotel that had paint comming off the walls and a broken window.

When I woke up I ended up going back to my host parents place and I hung out with them. During the Day I met up with some old friends of mine and we played games at an internet cafe. Then they had to go back because they had work to do so then afterward I went to Cafe D and hung out with the Brazilian exchange students. There we played Batgammon and drank coffee for most of the night then we went home because there was school the next day, and would you believe they actually have school ON CHRISTMAS!!!

During December and my New Year most of the time was the same as ever I hung out with different people and went different places. I think I forgot to mention that Im taking Tiequando as well, and this isn't like what they have in America where you can get a black belt when your 8 years old this is REAL. When you get a new belt you have to take an exam and you also need a license to take Tie as well. And when your bad they punch you in the gut and when your even worse they kick you. I would like to add I get punched and kicked very often, one time they lined up and punched me .

I'm good friends with the blackbelts and the Master so I get worked harder than the others . I also went to a TURKISH RAP CONCERT with Cash Flow (Turkish Rapper) as the main attraction. I'll send you some pickes of me and the kids from my school after this report. At the concert they had many freestyle battles with different Turkish rappers. Then after they had different people breakdance and it was all on Turkish TV as well. When we got out of the concert we all said good bye at the port then went home.
