Sonja Reports on the Bahamas Trip May 10, 2006 |
|
Hey
Guys,
It is time for a new report.
Yesterday evening we came back from the The On Friday morning we slept in and
went to the Dolphin experience in the afternoon. We got to pet a dolphin
and got a kiss. The dolphins were so friendly and seem always happy. We
went to a hotel beach afterwards. The sand was as white as you can imagine
and the water wonderful clean and not to cold. We had dinner with our host
famlies and went to Port Lucaya in the evening. Port Lucaya is a tourist
place/plazas with a lot of clubs. We stayed there until 1.30 a.m. . This
time Vicky, Ilaria, and Lorina came with us and stayed over because there
host families lived to far away. On Saturday we went out with to boats (David’s and Mike’s who is the Freeport Rotary Club president). We went out to Peterson’s Cay. This is a small island with a wonderful beach and a coral reef on the other side. There are no houses on the island and you can only get there by boat.
On Sunday we went to Port Lucaya
(again) but this time to go shopping and to spend the leftover money. At 3
p.m. we went to the airport because our time in the Bahamas was nearly
over. We had to say good bye to all the people we met. I want to thank you all the people who made this trip possible, especially Just Pat and Peter who came with us and all the hosts and the people who helped organize the trip. I will never forget it!
Now the life is going on and my
time here is getting shorter and shorter. There is not much time left in
school and I still cannot believe it.
