we're into February}}
In february I went snowboarding with my second host families host brother and host father in Nagano (where they held the Winter Olympics once... "oh yea that place")
I dont know about y'all but for me it was my first time and it was a hell of an experience. Maybe it was just the fact i had never snowboarded before or that i had never seen so much snow since just once or twice before that, but it was great !! Though it was only for one day (just a few hours actually) I had enough time to learn how to snowboard, run into some people (very embarrassing and scary, knowing that you can possibly kill somebody by running into them with enough speed/force), and falling a numerous amount of times. Now that I remember, falling was actually my favorite part. Because when i would fall, i woiuldnt just fall i would hit these dangerous twists and turns and flips and tumbles while falling, due to the amount of acceleration and force that had incorporated itslef within the way I snowboarded.
Well after a good few hours of rolling down the mountain, it increasingly became warmer and the snow on the mountain began melting little by little.... this is where i and many others began to hurt ourselves unwillingly... well the nice and cozy falls that we had had once upon a time (a few hours beforehand), began feeling as if falling face first/ butt first on the concrete as opposed to same fall(s) in a different scenario (say the grass or a mattress/sofa). The last thing that happen that month was I change to the third and/or probably final host family.

March/><\
March was actually very fun and probably the best time ive ever had in my stay here in Japan so far. <Yet it came with its challenges> In March I became closer and more comfortable with my new host family and all. . . But around the end of the month i went on a rotary trip to Kyoto (once the capital of Japan) and Hiroshima (one of the places the a-bombs were dropped). These three days or so were filled with fun and joy as we laughed and got to know each other better as well as the other exchange students from another district and much, much, more. In Hiroshima we went to the bombing sight and we saw all the pensive photography and features of the bombing. But the most appalling thing to me must have been when many people whom i know and whom ive yet to know, asked me what did i think about it? was i sad? or what did i feel when i saw all those terrible pictures and remains?
B+ing a person that usually speaks their mind, it was quite an ultimatum to dispense all of the feelings that stormed my mind at that time. So I simply told them that it was very dreadful and agonizing yet not to forget what befalled in Pearl Harbor. Even though it was inaccurate and an unpleasant deed Pearl Harbor shoudnt have taken place either. . . . thereafter no comment> emphasizing my nostalgia towards their losses while recollecting the losses the U.S obtained as well. That fragment of the Hiroshima trip was taunting yet a wake-up call and eye-opener to my true sentiment towards things. As soon as we finished having the tour of that part of Hiroshima we navigated to Miyajima in a ferry. At the moment of our arrival we were quickly rushed to our accomodations to have time to properly escavate the island and then some. Minutes later we ran out of the hotel and started to eat *Momijimanju* [the local, well-known sweets]]. After a wonderful night on the island, we woke up the next morning and were back on the ferry traveling back to mainland Hiroshima.
To make such a story short we went on the fastest train in Japan (Shinkansen) and made it to Kyoto. There we ate lunch and went off to explore a many lot of Temlpes and Japanese-style gardens. After a long day of adventure in Kyoto we reverted to our accommodations and ate Japanese-style Cuisine and had our own lil-Karaoke thing in the dinning hall, allowing us to act-a-fool and be teenagers.
After some hours of Karaoke we were thrown out of the dinning hall for being so noisy. So being the intrepid-type teenagers we were, we took the fun to one of the biggest suites and even sang Happy Birthday to my from Taiwan went the clock struck 12:00.
The trip was staggering yet I learned a few more things about the "Japanese Culture" as well as of "Me, Myself, and I".

Well fellow family and friends,
I think it may be safe to say that i have payed my dues.
So until the next time....

Peace & Love
