Well,
I guess I really have to write my first report now or then I'll
forget everything that I've done here. During my first two months
in Florida I have had very good time. My hostfamily is great, I
like my school, I've started new hobbies, met interesting people
and eaten many different kinds of food. So I could say that
everything is going quite well.
Now I'm studying few very new subjects for me at school, like
spanish what I've hardly heard before, and American history what
I've studied only as a part of world history. My other
schoolsubjects are art, english, biology, geometry and sport.
Actually I have seen that I get more exercise while I'm running
between my classes than in my p.e. class. That's because my school
is extremely complicated system made of only stairs. That is also
a reason for that I was completely lost and late from everywhere
on first week of school.
My most important (or most frequent) afterschool activity is now
crosscountry practises. I have even participated in few meets.
That's something that I was the most suprised myself. And I didn't
even lose!!!
I've also been in a baseballgame (in audience), seen more movies
in short time than ever before, seen little bit of american art
and almost learnt to use chop sticks :)
I'd really like to give you an illustrated version of my story but
if I'm telling the truth, I'm a bit hopeless with computers (as my
brother could very well agree...), so I guess you still have to
wait little more before you'll see all this in pictures.
Thanks for rotarians; even if I miss my home, I'm still happy that
I came here and you made it really happen!
