Sorry it has taken so long to write this one but i was
holding off writing it till a certain big event happened so i could
share it with you guys. (read on to find out what the even was)
So my life in brazil has been going on now as
usual, school is now a routine that i wake up early and go to a
prison-like building and stare blankly while a person that doesnt like
me talks and talks and talks....just like back home :)
(the teachers of the school i go to dont like
exchange students)
but on the weekends i go out with my friends and
go to clubs and such and have a great time, some weeks i go to a city
near by called Rolandia which is just a bus ride away.
Now for the good part:
METAMORPHOSE- websters defines this as the biggest
costume party in the world and it takes place in my city :)
i think the final count was about 30,000 people
there...it was loads of fun (i dressed up as a monk) and i think the
best costume there where 4 girls in all yellow surrounded by a McDonalds
fries container.
I think i left the location at like 8 AM after
dancing and partying all night, then i slept for a couple days ;)
my portuguese is coming along and i can usually
get by a whole day without asking someone what something means, my
family down here is really sweet and i think they are trying to fatten
me up...the thing my mom says to me most is Come Mais (eat more)
