Hey
Guys! well i was waiting till i had passed through this weekend that
just passd. It was a Rotex weekend in Bad Holzminden. It is a very
small town there, nothing much to see , only a Christmas Market not so
big either but it was alot of fun. When we arrived we went and had
dinner and then play and see other inbounds from other districts. Too
bad that John was not there.. You don't know what you missed!! It was
alot of fun.. But any way, then after playing and everything it
was a party. we danced and talked until 2.30 in the morning. but some of
the other inbounds were awake until 4 or 5 in the morning. We had to
wake up at 7:00 a.m. to be ready by 8:00. It was so tiring! and
well the next day we had our long session about the Europa tour and much
more information. it ended at about 5.00 or so in the afternoon and then
we went to the Christmas Market and my feet, mouth everything was
frozen. i mean we had to take much more time to talk cause our lips were
so cold that they would not move normally!!!! then we had a doner,
a turkish ´meat type of sandwich for dinner and then we had to give in
the presents When it was secret santa we all had to sit on the floor and the rotex people were dresend in a santa clause, a present, and angel and a tree.. it was so cute and funny... then we sang christmas songs in other languages, of course the ones who knew them.. like silent night, jingle bells etc... in spanish, portuguese, finish, french, english and german... then we had to make a line and sit on santa clause's lap and then we would receive the present.. i got ferrero rocher chocolates. some got candles, or a game or even more chocolates. though there was a girl form mexico that got a voodoo thing... and so she throwed it away.. i mean, hello... who is gonna give voodoo for Christmas??? we still don't know who did it.... then it was the costume party. very funny... and of course late till 3 in the morning. The next day we had to wake up early again and then do our presentations for the other outbounds that will go next year. it was interesting and somewhat boring.. there were many kids that with the face that they had you could tell that they were not interested ion going on exchange.. their parents were the ones with the happy faces and asking soooo many questions.... and then after that we helped to organize the classrooms (cause we were in classrooms) and then we all left. it was a wonderful weekend.. it was so nice... And so yeah. though 2 or a weekend ago i was in Nürnberg with one of my mom's best friends. it was really nice and i had so much fun. and guess what i saw.. Claire's!!! yeap, you all know that jewlery store for girls right.. i was like oh my gosh! and there were purses for 75 % off and i got one of 20 euros for 5 euros..... very good deal... And
so yeah. that has been my time so far. of course missing family and everything
but now everything is okay and i switch families on the 30th of this
month...... interesting right?? well my 2nd host family wants to do a
welcome party or something like that for me.. i think that is very nice
of them... and so yeah. nothing much else to say. school is fine.
and they put me in 7th grade only for the german class though, therest i
am in 11th grade. and then in january i will change classes to be all
agerman and everything in the 11th grade. and i meet a Colombian kid in
my school. he will be here for 3 months only..... and so yeah. iI wish
you all a Wonderful Christmas and New year 2006! I hope that all of your
wishes will come true!!! Take care!!! Catherine |
