Luis Got New Braces...But Not On His Teeth!

March 23, 2005

Hello there everyone!

Tomorrow is my 7th month anniversary that I've been here in
France, and im not one bit excited about knowing that another
month has passed by so fast =/ I'm having the greatest time
here, just to think about leaving this great country will
turn my smile upside down, just knowing that I will have to
leave my great friends, people that I get along with so well,
people who are always there when your need of support, I'm
going to miss them so much =( I'm already thinking about moving
to France when I grow older, and start university up here!!!

Oh well, enough with all the sadness, its making my stomach
all weird, and lets get to the good stuff shall we...
The last weekend, me and my friends went for a whole day
skiing at one of the mountains, we enjoyed ourselves so much,
I filmed us, and its pretty funny filming my friends falling,
and filming myself fall down hahaha it was incredible,
everyone got a sunburn except for me ahhaha, I was wearing
this really awesome hat that Ill have to send a picture of
after and put in my blog ;) (zoso.skyblog.com) but well the
day wasnt over just yet, we reached the last run of the day,
and I was going too fast and didnt realize that there were
tons of bumps behind the bump I was going off at, so guess
what happened? exactly...I fell face first and started rolling
down like a snowball, my friends were all wondering who was
falling down like a snowball until they saw my hat fly up in
the air hahaha...I ended up spraining my knee and now I have
to wear braces for 1 month, it actually isnt that bad, you get
tons of special privileges =D.

Now I have to talk to you about this weekend, it was so great!
All of the exchange students all over France met at Paris for
a 3 day weekend! it was about 350 of us all together (about
280 girls and 70 boys hehehe) and guess who I saw at over
there, my good friend Therol...oh boy it had been so damn long
since I actually talked to him, it felt good! I had so much
fun over there, we did so much, I even danced with my braced
legs huahaha, I met tons of Brazilians, 11 of us in total, we
had tons of fun. I filmed a little until it ran out of
battery, it really got me mad! Oh now this I can't forget to
tell you all...Sunday the last day we were together we went to
chateau de Versailles, the biggest castle in Europe I believe,
and I got to use a WHEEL CHAIR! that just made my day, I will
never forget it huahaha!!!

Well I have to go
and ill send pictures when I have them all on the computer in
my new family, until than visit my site, which has some recent
pictures...http//zoso.skyblog.com

Love you all and Miss you all
and thanks for this great opportunity rotary ;) you guys are
amazing

Luis
