Daniel's final report

May 31, 2004

I apologise for not sending the report about Thailand's new year, but the trip was so bad I don't really want to remember it. In anycase, I'll quickly surmise what's happened since then. The eigth to the sixteenth of April were spent on the trip, with the thirteenth being Songkran. Once the trip was over, I went back to Lopburi. Around the twentyfirst, Polly came back to Thailand. I went with her family to the airport to pick her up. The rest of April passed fairly quickly, and May reared it's head. The ninth brought about my return to Bangkok and school. This last month the days have gone by quickly, and I've been very busy getting my things together for the return trip home. I'm eaving Thailand on the fifth of June. SO here I am, writing my last report six days before I leave.

My trip here to Thailand has been nothing short of amazing. Though I love Thailand, the long overdue homesickness has finally hit me, and I feel the need to get back home to see my family and everything. Thailand rightly deserves the name 'Land of Smiles' because that is what everyone does. Everyone's polite, everyone smiles, and everyone is extremely friendly. GOing to Thailand has been added to my list of things one must do to have lived a full life. I encourage everyone to visit Thailand at least once. I wish I could stay longer, but all adventures must end. See you all in six days.
