Carla's First Two Weeks in Germany September 2, 2004 |

WEEK 1
Its been twoooooo weeks already and i amazed at
all the art, music, architecture, etc. The first week of arrival was
interesting I went to a party that same friday and met girls who had
just came to germany on an exchange( NOT ROTARY) so that in it self
was pretty cool. During the dinner there was a music and dancing
but in our table their was a battle of paper airplanes going
right and left. That night was fun! then the next few days they
took me out to have a look of Dresden it was nice and cool because
that same weekend there was a festival in the city (sorry no pictures forgot
my extra bateries) On monday school started and got a schedule that by
german standerds is considered a joke. I met that day another exchange
student named Kirsten from rotary but from district 6440.
School was interesting (aka interesting here has another
definition here like not so good) But it was better than doing nothing. That
same week I find out that my class the 11 year is taking a trip
to prague called slupe!
WEEK 2
This week was not as exciting except for the
trip I'm taking to Bautsen for a district meeting here in germany so
that will be way cool expect lots of pics and some of the exciting
stuff that happened there.
