Hallo, today I have been in Austria
for 2 months and 3 days, and I have only been bored for one
day, and that was because my cellphone and my money was
stolen... I got them back later due to an excelent
strategy my Host Father used, he threatened the students by
saying he had the fingerprints in my wallet (my money was
stolen but not my wallet)... the thief got scared and gave it
back... es war kein problem... Mein Deutsche is viel besser
jetzt, ich kann fast alle verstechen wann ist es in
hopfdeutsche und es ist nicht so schnell... it is only a
problem when people speak to each other really fast, but
that part is also getting better. The rotary program
here in Austria is excelent!!! we have a meeting almost
every month, and they are the best... All the other exchange
students have becomed my best friends, and we try to see
each other as often as possible... the train makes
everything possible in austria, its the best... Rotary
has taken us to Vienna, Arolzmünster, und Tauplitz, but I
was only able to go to Vienna because I was so late...
Vienna was incredible, we went in tours around the city
during the day, a theater, and a bus tour, we were there for
four days. And during the night we all went out
toguether to a Bar or a Disco, we are 54 exchange students
in Austria, and we went into a place and it was ours!! that
was incredible... I was also in Linz because one of
the exchange students made a party, and about 22 of us went
to it, there we also had a great time... Last weekend I was
back in Linz this time 10 of us went, and went out in Linz,
also great...
Since I have been here every weekend
ive had something to do... its been great. As for my
austrian friends I get along very well with my class, and i
have gone out with them a couple of times, I have discovered
this culture is based on Beer!! its incredible that a beer
in the supermarket is 35 cents of a Euro, and a coke is 1
euro... almost every town that is larger than 5000 people
makes their own beer... its crazy!!
In two weeks ill be going to Salzburg
with rotary, again we are all meeting thats going to be
great!! then we go to germany, and then they take us to ski
for a week, cant wait for that!!!
Im just starting and its already great
so I cant wait for the rest, specially when i can understand
everything, even the crazy dialect they speak here...
I ran out of time, must go to english
where they make me read almost everything... my english in
america is crap, but here aparently they think its sehr
gut... So i speak with my spanish accent and they believe
its good, jajaja thats ok with me...
well gtg, sorry I took so long to
write again, but its hard for me to use the internet... I
live in the country and there are no internet cafe's and
home i can only use it for a couple of minutes because it is
so expensive... only here at school when i have some free
time...
COME TO AUSTRIA, ITS THE BEST!!!
