Taro the bear at a farmish place we dropped by on the All-You-Can-Eat Strawberry Day |
Inside those tented gardens are the strawberries. You can also see a great view of the mountains in any direction |
Me with a checkered Valentines Day cookie from Kayo in my mouth. CHECKERED! That took a lot of work and it was delicious |
The rainy view of the school yard from my seat in class. The cherry blossom tree is going to bloom. |
Swans and ducks on the frozen Suwa Lake |
The Nagano Alps on a sunny but cold day' |

This is the Himeyuri Memorial. The hole is the cave that some girls hid in. In the museum, you can see it from below. I took this picture, and an almost identical one is in my textbook. |
Akane and I from the balcony of our Miyuki Beach Hotel, where we spent our last night in Okinawa. |
Mari practicing her shamisen. She didn't know I took this. She never lets me take pictures of her. |

A See-Saw Statue. They are on a bunch of buildings, or near them, because they're supposed to be intimidating and guard them. |
Some guy that kept standing at the bus stop motionless in this position. He perked up once the bus got moving again. |
Nagano Memorial: A memorial to all those in Nagano that died in the War of Okinawa, or in WW2 period... I don't know which. |

Japanese Elementary: This is the class I was with. I think everyone of them has my business card |
Nice to Have...: I thought the mountains were pretty, and the back of the bus was funny |
Matsumoto Castle: Pretty castle, on the outside, but it really used to be a fort type of thing. From Left to Right: My aunt, cousin, me, and mom |
Fumina: This is a pic from my apparent dating service... Fumina saw a picture of my friend, and my friend saw a picture of her, and now they're going out via internet... **sigh**

Manami and Aidi. I don't talk about these girls at all, but they're nice to me... They're the ones who waved at me when I toured the school.. |
Me and Manami. We were hanging out in the dressing room. I went there to study, and they went there because the 3rd years didn't have 1st hour class this Friday. |
Toshiko is cool, but I barely see her, along with Manami and Aidi. 3rd years have class on a different floor |
Iida's famous puppet clock. Not much to say about it, except it's Iida's symbol. |
Here's pretty old Japanese painting or scroll... I like it, though. |

Some little kids at a Matsuri |

| Sabrina sent additional pictures after being in Japan 4 weeks - September 17, 2004 | |||||
Jizou Statues at a temple I went to. They're supposed to bring good luck to people who live in the area... as long as you dump yen at their base |
Akane, Mizuna & Kaio |
Yamada-sensei, Brian, and Fumina behind the scenes at the the safety video. I play Yamada's girlfriend, and Fumina plays Brian's. |
Me Valle and Eva at the Rotary function. Valle is from Mexico, and Eva is from Connecticut |
ARMY OF SCHOOLGIRLS! My school doesn't have uniforms, and it's packed with boys, so seeing this is still kind of new to me |
| Sabrina sent her first pictures from Japan on September 3, 2004 | |||||
This is Mt. Fuji! As you can see, it doesn't have snow yet, but it's higher than the clouds...! |
This is of a statue from Motozenkoji. I wish now that I got a picture of the sign next to him... It says "do no take pictures." |
Me and Fumina kind of speaks for itself... I don't know what I'd do without this girl! |
Me and Miki is NOT Miki the Inbound. This is a girl I met on the plane. We waited hours upon hours just to find that our plane couldn't leave till the next day. |
That's me at the Tenryugawa District Rotary Club's meeting place. You can't see it, but the actual Tenryu River is right behind me. Tenryugawa means "Heavenly Dragon River." |
