It is already almost 9 months in Japan, I already feel the want to stay here, mostly because I can get around on my own. I have made many friends and met hundreds and hundreds of people. I still cannot eat sushi, but I have started eating raw shellfish, shrimp, etc. Still not fish and absolutely not raw egg. Japan starts its new school year, and recently I have been in my new classes. I also go to the university today to begin my Japanese Course. I have successfully made new acquaintances in my new class. And friends out of former acquaintances! I also had my birthday, which was probably one of the best I have had. I got my first call from my Family in America, then my 2nd host family called me simultaneously wishing my happy birthday, each person one at a time, they also said they wanted to get me something but I told them they didn't need to get me anything. They ended bringing me a present later that day to my new host family's house! After that I got e-mails from two of my teachers, two friends from school. And went out that day with another friend to Goryoukaku, then I went with my host family for dinner and they bought me a couple CDs! My birthday was pretty good all in all.

 

I have to go to college now so I will write a second letter later!
