Recently, nothing much has happened. I switched families, and now live closer to my school, about 20 minutes away, before I lived maybe 45 minutes away. I have not gone anywhere except my school trip, so this host family told me they would take me to Tokyo and/or Kyoto. I also have to move with my host family which is a bit crazy. The owner of the house wants to convert this home to a hospital for old people to excercise; so we have to move. I will probably be moving to Kikyo, about an hour or more from my school!!!!! This family now doesn't do practically anything outside the house with me. The reason is probably because the head of the house my host mother, is widdowed and lives here with her daughter, divorced, and two kids a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl. Therefore it is very loud, and a bit different from my other homes because their is no host father. The host family is always busy, as I said; the host mother has 3 restaurants, the host sister works at one of them as a manager, and the two kids have 3 baby sitters and 1 or 2 helpers that come to the house. I previously decided to quit kyuudou, but I can't; I don't want to dissappoint anyone, so I told them I would take a break and return when I got better. I will be going to Niseko for a ski trip, and my first time skiing. That's about it My birthday is coming soon APRIL 10th!!!!! Don't forget! And I will turn 17 years old! As far as school goes, I will become a 3rd year student (12 grade), after spring break, and I took a mock J-Test and got a 60 percent in Listening and 33 percent overall! That test though is for very very skilled people, usually for university students in studying in Japan. It goes from 4th grade to 1st grade. I am probably around 3rd. 1st being of the greatest proficiency. 1st assumes 2000, everday use, kanji to be known, and most of them known how to write. Also excellent listening comp. and excellence in reading and writing! I think I can probably get up to 2nd grade by the time I leave 1st if I try VERY hard! I am also taking a Korean class; maybe if I'm lucky I can take a Chinese language lesson too. I will also probably be taking an intermediate Japanese Course at Hakodate University, starting April. It is march and it is still snowing slightly every once in a while and then reaching back up into about 9 degrees. The Japanese call it sankanshion (3 cold, 4 hot) it expresses the gradual turn from winter into spring! That's it for last month. Mata ne!
