As the end draws near

I can feel a tear

Leaving the new home Ive found

I will miss my new friends

But soon itfs the end

Now that Im homeward bound-

Do you like it? I just wrote it because I needed an opening for this report.

Life is good; I graduated high school today -again. I still have two more days left of school but that is just for fun. Coming home from exchange is a lot harder than going out on exchange, you know that you will see your friends and family in a year. I don't know when, if ever I will see these people again. I have made a few plans in the next few years to come visit. Also with my brother living here now it shouldn't be too hard. I think that I am going to have a lot more culture shock coming home than when I arrived in Japan. When I first got here there wasn't much culture shock at all, just language difficulties. But when I get back home I don't even know what to expect. All my friends have graduated high school or going to their second year of college. Ive gotten so used to the foods here, I know I am going to miss them. Im also going to miss eating rice everyday. I hope I can recreate some of the recipes I have learned abroad back at home. Im sorry I haven't sent many pictures home recently but I promise they will be coming eventually. Well I am really dead tired and my host father is making pizza so ill leave it at this. Ill probably do some more traveling and try and send home one more report before I come home.
