| hey to all of you guys back home
in the Bahamas this is just a note to say hello and that i have returned to Szombathely from one of the best weekends that i have had since i have been here in Hungary... i set out early Friday morning to Budapest, and then to Szeged later that day with the other exchanges students that live throughout Hungary, including the new inbound students from Australia and South Africa who i had never met before going on this trip once we arrived to Szeged...the party started up and from then on, was none stop... so...basically...friday night we partied, saturday afternoon we partied and shopped, saturday night we partied and on sunday we partied then said good bye, then partied some more.. so we were all pretty busy (i would say) it seriously felt like the united nations up in there...it was great and the feeling was fantastic... i still have trouble to this day trying to believe it at times... the fact of exchange students gaining a huge amount of weight really is true... I was one of the smallest out of the group...and let me tell you...i'm kicking 140 pounds (no lie) so you can imagine that i didn't feel as bad as i did before...so that right there was a moment i will never forget...and was when the heavens opened up and said that there was hope for me after all!!! sadly enough, I am afraid to say that all things come to an end, as did the this weekend of FREEDOM...I say this because it was sponsored by the members and students of Rotaract...yes the young, lively, energetic, risk-taking kids with attitudes like, do what you want, we don't really care... It was a beautiful thing man... (hey, maybe I am over-exaggerating A LITTLE, but its MY report and i can do that..) so now, I am back to reality chilling at home on a tuesday afternoon... after getting back from Györ...( a city between Budapest and Szombathely) I had stay there last night because I missed my train home...but lets forget that i said that... so other than what I told you , there was nothing else that happened...I know that it may not sound exciting for you...but it was for me because I got to spend a lot of time with the others that I hardly ever see... we caught up a lot... it was amazing to see how everyone changed even in such a short amount of time...they were all subtly different...but were all for the better...it was like their maturity levels really climbed up the chart...and its strange to think that the same thing happened to me... I feel as though this weekend was one of the bests because it was the time that we all really bonded and were able to say that we gained a closeness that will be held together throughout the years... I didn't want to return home, but the thought of meeting with them again really motivated me to... all in all...I enjoyed myself...and when it comes down to it all, it is one of the most important things to do, even better when you share it with the those you care for and whose feelings are genuine towards you as well... so to all of my regulars...I am going to head out for now...catch you next time much love from Hungary...
