Well i must admit that the past probably month here, hasnt really been that exciting. Unbelievably, i have been travelling and attending a few parties or better yet i should write "festas". And out of all of the "festas"that i have been to, i would have to say thus far my favorite has been "Festa de Fantasia". Its a big party held outside of Londrina, my city, where everyone dresses up. So in other words its just like a Costume party, and very big one at that. I was told its one of the bigger festas of the year, next to Carnival ofcourse, and people come from all over the state and southern Brasil states just to attend. I was already bummed out about missing Halloween, which is my favorite day of the year next to my birthday, so this was just like an after Halloween, Halloween. It was so cool, me and my two best friends got dressed, and had to walk to one of the Rotarians home to meet the other exchange students who were all there already dressed in costumes. Even exchange students who dont even live in our city came, and slept by Rotarians homes. We all rented a bus and went to the party together. I went as "school girl", and basically put together a school uniform, and put my hair in two, and tired to look as cute as possible. It brought memories of me back home goin to school, becase of my costumes uniform which i made up myself. Well to my dismay after we arrived, i saw like 100, literally, girls dressed also as school girls. Some in packs dressed alike with the same colors, and matching hair and matching accesories. I was highly upset. But looking at all the different costumes when we got inside the actual festa made me so happy. I have never in my entire life seen so many outrageous costumes, and so many people dressed up at one place., not even on TV. It was so cool. The most popular costumes would have to be Arabian dancers, Lara Crofts (tomb raider), Hawaiian costumes with grass skirts and bikinis, Neo from the Matrix look alikes, Bathroom stalls, cheerleaders and school girl outfits, Fred Flinstones, Bob Marleys and last but not least Devils. Oh to make it even more hysterical, i saw a person who i thought i would never be able to see, Jesus Cristo. That was by far the best costume party or big costume festa of fantasias, i probably will ever go or attend in my life. It was terrific.   Ps. I am finally fully understanding people when they talk around me. Its funny, i realised when a two people i know, who i alwasy thought were very happy and looked liek they never would have problems, began discussing something infront of me because they figured i didnt understand, then began arguing. It was funny, because i didnt realise i understood, still i started thinking in my mind "gosh i never thought i would hear her saying that." :).......Now if only i could speak it better!
