| HEY everyone! Tudo bom? AHH, the months are winding down, cant believe it, but at the same time im sort of happy. I know everyone else is like she cant be serious, but yes, im just enjoying my last few months before im back in the sweet islands. (haha) I guess another happy factor would be that back home it is getting warm, but here is just beginning to get a little cold. So bye bye tan, and nice weather. Im going to miss it! This past month i changed homes, although i am still in disbelief. I really wished that i could have stayed with my japanese family my entire year, but unfortunately came the "move". I moved to the Souza family. They are a mixed family, with my father being a black brasilian from the north, and my mother being Italian. And now i have a sister who already made an exchange to Denmark, who is 19, and a brother, Fernando, who is 14 (and quite the trouble maker). This family also lives in an apartment except it a little out from the center of the city, where i used to live. I still have my own room and bathroom, so im happy. I cant say that i have fully adjusted to my new family yet, but i am guessing with time ( which i don't really have) i will adjust to them. My mom is quiet, and doesn't say much, whilst my father is always talking. My sister is really really nice. She just came back from Denmark in January, so we both identify very well with each other. As for my brother........that's a whole different story. He's quiet, but i guess being quiet doesn't really mean much. HE is A HUGE trouble maker. We don't speak that much, but our relationship i think will remain better if we stay that way. (haha) He also my parents very stressed right now. Maybe its just rebellion. I also switched schools. Now i know i didn't mention anything about my first school, maybe because no one wanted me to stay there. Well I now go to a private school. Its really nice, and completely different from my first. My first was a public school that really, seriously speaking, didn't care. My class was wonderful, and i miss them now that i am in this new school with actual order and kids (more like adults, because the class i am in is for people who are only studying to take an exam for college, and are finished with high school) who actually behave and pay attention. My class now is like basically 90 people, if everyone is there, unlike before when it was only 30 and some. But its cool because i am in the class with my best friend from Mexico. So im ok. Now to my happy story!!!! Last month on March 27th, I HAD MY FIRST VISIT! One of my closest friends from bahamas, Ashley Knowles, came to visit me while she had a weeks break from college. I WAS SO HAPPY! Unfortunately there was nothing really here for her to do. We just spent most of our time talking and touring the city, and letting her try all the great foods, that helped me to my healthier state (a.k.a FAT and OVERWEIGHT state). (Mom i know your laughing right now) She was just so happy to be here, i don't think it even mattered what we did. *ALL SMILES* And to make me even happier on May1st, my best male friend will arrive here to visit, and a week later, May 7th, my best friend will arrive. I am just so happy that they are coming!! Words cant explain! TCHAU e BEIJOUS pra tudo mundo! Jodi |
