So its been awhile sorry about that. Lets recap the past month or so. Febuary 7-9th There was the rotary winter camp. We all went snowboarding and got to meet the new oubounds from our district. One of the ouboounds is from my school, she will be going to mexico. It was a pretty good time had by all. Last weekend: on friday the 13th I went, along with all of the other rotary students, to talk to and hang out with some middle schoolers at an english intensive school in Koriyama. We all had a great time and were invited back again sometime later in the year. The next day my host brother (25) took me and his girlfriend snowboarding. Matt from France also came along. Matt and I had a great time but My host brother was kinda stuxck teaching his girlfriend the whole time. The price of love. Sunday I had band practice for a show we had on the 24th of Feb. This week that just happened. Monday...nothing special, Tuesday took a Japanese test. Wensday hung out and home and packed (I didnt have school becuase all of the other students had exams). Thursday My friend and I drive down to Tokyo to see Dashboard Confessional, one of my favorite bands who happens to be from Miami. Friday I dont do much at all, mostly some more packing. Saterday I wake up kinda late and have band practice from 3-5. Practice is great and were all really psycked about the show later that night. I come back from practice and have Sayonara dinner with my hjost family. After dinner I head out to the show. The show went aboslutly perfect, we didnt get on until around 1am but the crowd loved us and everyone had a great time. I ended up getting home around 4:30 and getting to sleep around 5 or so. Sunday wake around 10 and prepare to change host families. We have a very nice breakfast, I say good bye, and thank you and all the other stuff. We load all my stuff into the car ( we suprised everyone including myself when we got everything into one car). And I left my previous family and now im somewhere new. The family: The name is FunyuSan. Mother and Father- both really nice, the father is a little bit...out of this world. Hes kinda huge and scary but I like him for that. My mother is the sweetest lady in the world. I have an older sister, she is 22, she is really nice and works at the mall in the train station. I have two brothers. One 18, hes finished with highschool and just kinda hnags around, he leaves in a month, he is really nice as well. And then there is the 16yr old. We get along pretty well too. I think I may finally start living a real japanese highschool life, this is both a good and bad thing. I havent started living a it yet but Ill tell ya all about it soon. These are just my fiorst impressions of this family. I moved in yesterday and Im still getting used to it and everything. Thats all for now, Im at school so I cant send pictures but I will soon.
