The orientation for the Inbounds of 2003 - 2004 was held on August 23, 2003 at Tree Tops Park in Davie Florida. A group of more than 75 students, past and present, host families, Rotary dignitaries and Youth Exchange Committee members participated in and witnessed the usual great orientation program this District has come to enjoy each year. This program would not exist without the tireless efforts of the Youth Exchange committee, and in attendance were Chair Roy Joseph, Country Coordinators Laura L'Heureux (Orient and India), Kerry Mott (South America) and Steve Bassett (Europe), Susan Mandel, Media Advisor, Doug Weinman and Bruce Kerestes, Activities, Richard Bates, Bahamian Coordinator, Peter Bondy and Jeannie Bibergall, Committee Members. Additional thanks to Mike Newman (whose son Mark is a current exchange student, and son Shawn is a former exchange student) and Jerry Mills for providing some of the pictures below. |
