 My name is Tiago Migliari , I’m from Brasil and I’m just living the most interesting experience of my life!

 When I apply to be an exchange student, I had a dream in my mind … I really since I was a child wanted to go and travel to different countries, learn the culture, see the differences … in especial … USA …. But as a child you dream in experiences different from reality . 

When I received the call from my city rotary president telling me that I hd passed on the exams and I was very well classified and probably got the country that I choose in first …  the dream started to come true . 

In fact …. I just realized that what I was passing thru was really reality , when I put my feet in the airplane and waved to my mom and my uncle in the airport … It was true … and now … I had a lot of things on my mind … a lot of questions … a lot of doubts …. How my host parents would be ? What are their expectations about me ? How  it will be the school ? Friends ? Home Sickness… everything … 

I’m here 2 months and a half …. Everything is going very good …. Of course it’s very different of my child dream, and its not so easy how I thought would be …. But it’s better than I was thinking…My worst expectations are gone , and now I enjoy the discovers of the experience

 My host parents are really awesome …. Gerlinde is German and came here when she just were 19 years old … so she know what I’m passing thru and she help me a lot !! Russ…. Well Russ is Russ …. Is the most happy person that I have ever met in my life …. You cannot be sad on his side …. He always cheer you up, I have a lot of fun with him . But what I most admire in those wonderful persons besides their qualities it’s because they applied for receive an exchange student …. And this is a very different thing to do … and you really need to have an open mind to it …!

 There is a lot of new things that if I started to count it would take forever … but as many differences have between the countries … I find some similarities!  

It’s really an experience that has a value of life ….  The way I see the world is changing … as well as me.
