I`M sorry for the lateness of my report and wish send my sadness of the many  people that passed away do to the terrorist.Well let me start from the from  day one my flights werw as fast as I could possibly hope for on the account  that as soon as I put my seat belt on I was out like a light. I hadn`t slept  for well over 30 hours so I was a Tad Tired, but I did make the effort to wake up for the Plane food..uugghh I still get the taste in my mouth when I think about it, the Beef tasted more like chicken than the chicken.

After my second Flight I had Arrived in Tokyo I slid quickly past customs I had forgetten my certificate of eligibilty and other documents(such as my school enrollment papers)in Florida, but me being MR. Suave and Debonare I put on my best smile and smoothed my way in, telling there was a little error but I could give him my host Family name as well as High school name so he let me thru. It did help I had the Jacket on too. As I past him The Magic I felt as I looked around was pure joy I WAS IN JAPAN!!! I met my contact and another Rotary Exchange Student For Hawaii and I exchanged My first Card and pin. When I was Giving my baggage to the claimer I had to hop over the rail and put it on the platform because they  couldn`t lift it, I do say it was heavy.

When I arrived In Asahikawa one of my bags didn`t OY! so it would be shipped the next day to Monbetsu. That`s when I saw my Host family and right away we hit it off. I was using the Japanese(NIHONGO) I had learn and they Knew a little  English(EGGO) so we We`re communicating right from the beginning. My  family(KAZOKU) is great we`ve done so much together this last month,This  when I woke up at my new house the first day I was up and about doing things  so me, one of my host sisters, and some of her friends went to a school  concert. In this mointh I`ve done thing such as bon dancing in a festival(  my team won third place) it was a huge blast I was announce it front of all  that were there which seemed like the whole town. I meet my host club and  gave a speech afterward I talked with some members and they told me how  impressed they were but I just said it wasn`t that good and I wish I knew  more japanese. I`ve also met the Mayor of the town and been interviewed by  so many reporters I beginnning to get a swelled head.

As far as school goes  It`s the best Roy wasn`t joking when he said I would have to go up infront  of the staff and students. Man I could have just died there but I pulled it  off and even managed to make the whole room laugh( Halfway through the  speech I started laughing and couldn`t stop). One piece of information if  you ever go to Monbetsu as a Forgien exchange student you don`t have time to  be Shy the students won`t allow it i`ve been surrond by so many girls asking  about me, America, and life there it gets overwhelming(not that I mind being  surrounded be girls all interested in what I say mind you). The only thing  I hated to do was September 1st I had to participate in a marathon 37  KILOMETER!!! I though I did something wrong and this was punishment, the  ending of it was a site to see me and this other student were the last to  and when we turn the corner for the last strech we bolt as the school  cheered us on I start singing WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! It took me 7hrs 46min  and 11 seconds. Well I have to get going now

Thanks Rotary for granting one  man`s dream.
