Greetings To My Friends, Family, along with the  wonderful and hopefully very forgiving people of Rotary. I tried my best to recap my experiences of late. First to Roy and My club, About my Flight homeward Bound. I have scheduled to leave Monbetsu on July 26 From there I will be staying in Tokyo for two night. At the end of this duration I shall be going home on a flight scheduled for the 28th of July. Well, now that that formality is out of the way... Hajimeshou!!(Let`s start!)

A Poem by Me to Inform You about the ISHII(s)

In the months of these past, things have taken place,
The likes of which, from my mind they`ll never erase.
The first change is very significant to me,
because in February ,see, I switched Host Families.
After three months with the Kitagawa(s) my time was up,
and I acquired in my throat a lump.
For you see they were such a kind and loving troupe,
leaving them put me in a sad little droop.
Little did I know what  was in store for  me,
when I moved into the house belonging to the Ishii(s).
There in this house live a group of five,
 a father a mother, a sister, and 2 kyoudai*.
My host sister, I have had conversation with  in the past,
because in case you didn`t know, we attend the same homeroom class.
My youngest host brother is a wonderful lad,
energetic, lively, always questioning, as well a never sad.
The oldest brother you will come to see,
for next year he comes to Florida as a student of Rotary.
My host mother is a yahoo auction-a-holic,
which doesn`t change the fact her cooking makes me eat-a-holic.
My Host father is the second coolest man you will ever see,
The first ,of course, being yours Truly : ).
This guy loves to laugh and jest,
which makes him (in my book) the best.
His favorite topic as it seems,
is which girl in school I most fancy.
When he ask details on this subject I smile and lie,
by saying simply," NIHONGO SENSEN WAKKARANAIIIIIIiiiii."
Very recently I came into news  which I could hardly believe,
that is I will be with the Ishii(s) until Monbetsu I leave!

*Brothers                      **I don`t understand Japanese at all

Whew! So how was it? I`m not the most poetic person in the world but I felt like doing something different. As for what I`ve been doing in as of late... Starting off Early in Feb. I went to Sapporo, where for the first and probably the Last time I met the 20 or so Youth Exchange Students residing in Hokkaido. Unfortunately due to poor planning I only stayed with them for a duration of about 7 hours. However the next day I was able to attend Asahikawa`s Ice Festival. When you are standing on a Life Size scale model of Castle made only out of snow... It`s makes you think about the wonders of life.

My life in Monbetsu might not make for an interesting novel but I enjoy it.  There are however addictions I have obtain since coming into this town. The first being The love for Saunas, nothing is more relaxing on a winter day then sweating those pounds away in a sauna. The other is a love for all things Karaoke. I have come to the conclusion that every Japanese female has been imbued with what I like to call the KARAOKE GENE, Because I can`t even begin to compare myself to their golden voices.  I have also improved my bowling game by at least 20 points. On the 14 of this month I`m going to a National Kyudo(Japanese Archery Test) placement test.

My evenings at home I spend doing a variety of things. For example: Play Video Games with my brothers, helping my sister with her english, and having Heckling wars with my Father( He is wise In the art, a worthy opponent indeed).

I`m in the last three and a half months of my Journey, Things weren`t easy at first, but still I have enjoyed every moments good AND bad.@Without the support of my families it could have been harder too, but I guess some people are lucky in a way. Really it doesn`t matter what house hold you live in so long as your family can spend time with you is all that matters. Well I should end this report now but if anyone would Like to ask me Personal question please -mail me anytime at Silverfang91583@hotmail.com@.
