Hello again everyone!

Well now that October has come and gone and I have  been here for over two months, I can honestly say that Hungary feels like  home to me. Granted there are some pieces missing, but it is still a good  feeling! I hope that everyone at home is doing good despite the many  problems the country is facing. To all the other exchange students, I hope  that all of you are having a great time!

Ok, first I will tell you about my trip to Prague. It was a school trip  for all the seniors, a whole 40 of us! I go to a big school, can't you  tell....the whole school is about 500 kids from K through 12! Anyways, the  trip was for 4 days, well 2 of those days were spent on the bus, but it was  still good. We stayed in a youth hostel, which may not sound like fun to  some, but there was a bar underneath so most of us didn't mind. Don't worry  though, I followed the Rotary rules....I think!!! Anyhow, Prague was  beautiful, it's a lot like Budapest except a little smaller and older. To  the other exchange kids, I highly recommend going on the school trip if  there is one. It's the best way to really get to know your classmates. My  classmates have become my really good friends here!

Next was the Rotary trip to Venice Italy. Although it was an extremely  long trip, (did you know sleeping on the floor of the bus is actually more  comfortable then the seats) it was a lot of fun. I absolutely loved Venice,  and up to this point of the exchange trip, I believe Venice is the most  beautiful city I have seen. If you ever have a chance to go there, go!! That  was the closest I have been to an ocean for so long! I think I'm having  withdrawals!! Just kidding!

Well that brings me to this present moment. There was a lot of other  minor stuff I chose to leave out, but in general I have been busy. Between  soccer, school, and hanging out with my host sister and her/my friends, I  haven't had a whole lot of free time. My Magyar, Hungarian, is very very  bad, but I am trying to learn. It is an extremely difficult language, so  those of you learning French and Spanish, feel very lucky!!!

Alright, well as I said before, I hope all is well with everyone. I am  still working on getting pictures, so maybe the next time you come to visit,  there will be some! On a personal note...to my friends and family, I miss  you all very much, and just because I don't talk to you all very much, don't  think there is a day when I don't think about you!

Love you all!

Kelly!
