well where to start, i have to make this quick because i am at school. my host brother said that i must have downloaded some sort of virus on the  computer so now it doesn't work!! well i am having fun in wien. the language  is going well, with a little help from my abend deutschkurs!! i am starting  to think things in german and sometimes i don't even notice it.

well i took  an english test the other day and i thought it was really easy and when i  got it back my teacher wrote on the top "were you even thinking when you  wrote this!?!" apparently i spelled almost every other word wrong! i knew  maybe one or two were misspelled but not that many! well i don't care i know  i know english and at least i can still speak it, for now at least.

i made  chocolate chip cookies for my host family and my counselor, they ate all 4  dozen of them!! they turned out good considering there were no chocolate  chip, but i always seem to manage. it was funny because they asked me what  shape they were going to be and i was shocked that they didn't know anything  about cookies, having vienna being that sweet capital of the world!!

well  last weekend i attended a "ball" it wasn't a dance it was a ball. it was in  this huge castle and it reminded me of Cinderella! i walked in a room and  everyone was dancing waltz. some guy from school came up to me and he asked  me to dance, so of course i tried it, but i embarrassed myself! all  austrians take a dance class at the age of 15 and i am 17 and i don't know  one dance step. he was 17 too, and he tried to teach me but everyone was  just flowing so gracefully and it felt like i was hopping around in  circles!! so this monday i attended a free dance lesson, so in november i  wont be that embarrassed to dance!

this coming weekend is the vienna weekend  so all 75 exchange students are coming to vienna and we are going to take a  grand tour. that following week there is no school for 10 days so i am  hoping that i could go see my lovely friend emilia (former exchange  student), but she just said that she is flying back to florida- so who knows  what i will do. i am ready to travel around europe, that is for sure. well  time is running out.

one last note: i attended the rotary meeting and boy is  that a nice club. they meet at hotel bristol downtown and lunch is catered!!  it was pretty cool. i gave a little speech about myself, half in english  half in german- they were all laughing so i know they appreciated it. i hope  all is well in florida- take care.
