| HEY GUYS!! Well after 2 colds and a minor case of larengitis, the snow is starting to look pretty again :) i guess thats what happens when you decide to have a snow fight with out gloves or a warm jacket.. heheh.. So the update: I have been having sooo much fun!! I have been blessed with a super duper first host family who i know that i am going to be really sad to leave.. the other day my host mom had tears in her eyes when we were talking about doing all my laundry so i can be ready to go to my next family.. So far i have had to say goodbye to 3 really good friends who were here only on short term.. well one and the other 2 that i had met my first month in Murnau.. i guess you were right when you told me that i would make friends that would last a life time.. i know that i will never forget them.. My friend from Mexico and I are already planning a 'Sofie tour' so we can go visit our friend who went home.. and the other two live in cali and are already planning a trip to come and see me. School is going ok.. its really really boring
but on wednesdays i go to a german school where i take 3 hours of
intensive german for not native speakers!! so thats really cool.. my
german is finally getting to the point to where i can actually have a
conversation with some one.. im just like joy in a way.. i had my first
dream in german the other night.. it was really weird!!! A girl who is
here from Australia told me that when she had her first dream in german,
she woke up and took a picture of herself.. ok im not going to go that
far, but i'll definitally remember it :) Every weekend and some days
during the week i'm out with my friends and having a tremendous time!!!
every morning for breakfast and every night ( during the week ) for
dinner, i eat with my entire family.. its great!!! I just learned how to
make knudels!! its great!! i go to my next host family on sat.. i only
know the daughter but shes really nice so hopefully her parents are great
too.. and there is a gym that is only five minutes away!! woohoo!! now i
can finally loose these 20 lbs that i have gained from being here.. yes
you heard me right 20 lbs.!!! ahhhhh.. but at least i'll be warm in the
winter :) |
