Hi everyone , I know that papa Roy was a little worried, and probably thought that I went missing or something here in France, but it's been really difficult. Anyway, enough with the excuses, I'm using the time of my math class to let you all know what's been goin' on since te Christmas holidays. Probably just as soon as I met my host sister and brothers, we clicked. I've become good friends with them, and their friends also. Now, when I can't get out to see any of my friends, I go out with my host sister and her friends, they love the fact that I speak English, so, we do a little exchange as to where they teach me French, while I help them with their English.

I'm actually happy that I moved to St.Briac for the Christmas holidays instead of going to the other family, because I did a whole lot of things that I knew I wouldn't have been able to with the other. I ate loads of diferent things, such as snails, frog legs and horse. My host family thought that I was really brave for trying all of those things, now that I think about it, I think so too. I'm not too fond of the horse , but the snails were soooo delicious and the frog legs are like eating mini chicken legs . I've even tried some of the stinky cheese, and they're not so bad if you hold your breath while eating it. Then, with almost every meal, the wine poured. My new host father is one of the Rotarians who keeps pouring the wine into my glass. He always brings home some new wine for me to taste.

I've been going out or doing something really fun every night during the holidays. Then, New Year's Eve, my host sister and brothers, threw a big party that went on until after sunrise the next morning. Thank God I had my room, because when I went upstais in the morning, people were sleeping everywhere. Then, that same night, there was another at the house of one of my host sister's friends, and then, two days after that, there was another. I was soooo beat by the time it was all over, I only went up for meals, watched a little television, and back to bed .

Now, I'm back at school, but having fun. I'm now getting ready for a ski trip in the middle of February. My host mother's taking me because I was pretty bummed that it didn't snow in our part of France . She's pretty nice, huh?!? Oh, well, I think that's about it. Until next time.
