PRESIDENTIAL CONFERENCE ---   MIAMI

NOVEMBER 9 ~ 11, 2000

The District 6990 Exchange Students had a rare opportunity to participate in a Rotary International Presidential Conference held in Miami, and they also had the opportunity to meet Rotary President Frank Devlyn.   The students acted as flag bearers at the opening ceremony of the Conference and were joined by more than 50 members of local Interact Clubs.

Of course they also had the chance to get together and hang out, stay at South Beach in Miami and go the the Hard Rock Cafe.  For sure the chance to meet Frank Devlyn was the highlight of the weekend!!!

The flags being carried were from the participants in the conference, not the countries the students were from.  Here Aurelie, Julie and Max are trying to figure out what flags they are carrying!
