Hi everybody, wassup? I formatted my report this time, I thought it'd be easier to make thata way.

Major events:
1. I moved host families on the first. I think this family would have to be the best one yet, their not as strict as my first and there's always someone here unlike my previous one. I have a host sister who's 16 and a host brother who's 10. Their kinda nice except the host sister always tells me to "DIE!" (sometimes in Japanese sometimes in English) . I think that's funny he he he he he.
2. Me and the rotary kids in my district went to the 23rd annual Sapporo international night on the 11th. We had to have a discussion in Japanese about something, I had to discuss something about the enviroment. At my discussion there was a guy from Korea who was some kind of enviromentalist, him and this guy from germany kept talking the whole time. I didn't get to say much, but it was kinda fun.
3. After the international night we went to the 52nd annual "yuki matsuri" (snow festival) held in Sapporo's oudouri kouen (oudouri park). It was very cool. There were a whole lot of snow statues and some ice statues too. There were so many kind but I didn7t get to see them all, we had to leave a little early to catch our train back. But while there I got on TV. They had an omikoshi (portable shrine) and me and the student from California got to help lift it. You have to like bob it up and down while walking with it set on one of your shoulders. It was kinda heavy. And while I was walking with it, a camera came up to me and started filming. When I got back to Monbestu a girl in my class said she saw me on TV. I thought that was pretty cool.
4 In my town they had a sea-ice festival. It wasn't all that fun. It was started so that the children could have fun outside since it's cold and the chidren don't wanna go out. So it was for children but something worth going to, right? They had a buncha sea-ice statues and some slides made out of ice, and also a maze made from ice and snow. It was cold (note the seriousness in my voice, kind of a subtle and flat tone).

General (school, life, ect.):
1. Well the seniors at my school graduated today (the first of March). Yesterday, Feb. 28th, there was a kind of going away performance done by the school. Everyone in the school had to participate. For the last few weeks we've been practicing a para-para (dance) for the mickey mouse song. It was so stupid. So yesterday everyone in the school (except the seniors) had to dance and sing for them. It wasn't all that fun. And today they graduated, it was kinda sad. And tommorow I have to take exams. They aren't making me take all of them, I have to take Home Ec., Japanese history, Geography, and a Japanese test made by the school for me. I might be taking others, but I'm not too sure, I don't have any tomorrow but on saturday and Monday I do. So I'm gonna study tomorrow. if I don't procrastinate that is.
2: I've been falling down a lot more recently. On the way home from school, I go past a shinto temple. I come up from the back and it's all down hill from there, so I have to go down a buncha steps. The steps are covered with ice and snow and kinda became a slide. So I would slide down, and usually I don't fall or anything, but recently I've been falling. I'll fall from the top and slide on my ass the rest of the way, it kinda hurts. I slipped for the first time about a month ago, and it's just been getting worse since, I think falling in a shinto temple is bad luck, I'm probably gonna be cursed for ever. OH WELL, what's a guy to do about that ya know. My host my told me it's not bad luck but I think she's just trying to hide the truth from me, Grrrrrrrrrr........ And I nearly got hit by a car when I slipped crossing the road. I think it's a little strange, don't you? Well it was something worth writing, ya know.

Language:
Well, I rarely speak english anymore, if I don't know a word I just ask for an explaination in Japanese instead of going to a dictionary or something. So I have been talking a lot more, mainly nonsense but that's what I talk anyway, as you can tell from what I wrote above. So I finally got someone to say something I haven't been asked for a long time; "Are you drunk?". My host-mom asked me a week or two ago. I felt so proud of myself. I just act so funny all the time, not to mention what I say. My host-ma taught me a Japanese saying, "nuka ni kugi". Which means "nail in rice crap". It means you have no meaning. Because a nail in rice crap(not really crap but like bran or something) is just plain non-sense. So she was basically saying I make no sense. I'm happy about that 80) (that was supposed to be a happy face).

Just plain crazy stuff:
1. Today like five people asked me if I got my hair-cut, but I didn't. I thought that was a little funny.
2. If I were a hippopotamus how much would I wiegh?
3. I'm starting to wear boxers more often, I normally wear briefs but I'm starting to change that. At a rotary party, we played a bingo game and this lady who won boxers gave them to me, I thought that was a little strange.
4. I'm also eating ice-cream more often. I've eaten a bowl everyday for the last week and a half.
5. I LuV sushi.
Well lemme know if you like this format or comments or whatever, I haven't been keeping in touch with people from rotary, so If you want, e-mail me at satochin@oregano.ocn.ne.jp
