Only a month to go before I leave. I don't know how I feel about that. I am ready to be back in the real world, with a job and grades and everything, but there's still a lot I want to do here that I just don't have time to do. I would love to get Eurorail and be able to travel around for a month, but there just isn't time.

The host family I'm with now is great. Both of the parents are really nice. I'm going to a family gathering with them on Thursday. My host dad is from a family of 8 kids, so I'm expecting a crowd. My host mom is also a good cook. So far, all of my host families have had good food. I've been lucky with that. Mmmm.I have three host brothers, but they are already grown up and out of the house. Oh, and there's a pool. Hehe. Perfect for summer.

I got back from Euro tour a couple weeks ago. It was great, but it went really fast. My favorite city was Berlin. The people were so nice, and they still had places where you could see the devestation, preserved as monuments. I wouldn't mind living in Berlin one day. If anybody ever goes, there is an absolutely great museum there, called Check Point Charlie, that is totally worth visiting. Amsterdam was really beautiful too. There was so much water, and it was kind of like I thought Venice would be, but more modern. Not sleazy at all, or at least not the part we went to. When I was in Italy, my cousin went up to Milan for the day to meet up with me, so he got to see some of the people I'm with. Almost everyone loved Italy, which is totally understandable. How could anyone not? We ran into another Rotary Euro tour during the trip too, which was nice. Some people got to see friends they hadn't seen in a while.  I visited Italy again last week, because we had some days off school and my uncle is sick. He's a little better now. He is home from the hospital, which is already good. He will have to take medicine for a while yet, but he's fairly young so I'm pretty sure he'll be ok. It was good seeing my family and being able to say goodbye, since it will probably be a while before I see them again.

We just had our district conference, and the other district in Austria too. It was nice because all of the exchange students were able to get together and hang out a little. We had to introduce ourselves at the conference too, which was a little nerve wracking, since there was a whole crowd of strangers staring at us. I got to see Graz, though, since one of the district conferences was right near there.  Nothing much else is happening. School is winding down here. My German is better, though I still wish I had more time here to improve it. This will probably be my last report, since I'm coming home soon. See you guys soon!
