The snow fast has finally been broken. The first day only a little, second day more, and today I woke up to a decent layer of snow. Yay! Finally. Nothing much has been going on here. I went ice-skating this week. I only fell twice. I feel pretty good about that.

I have the house to myself for a couple days. My host family went to their mother's birthday party. My friend is sleeping over tonight and we are going to cook french onion soap. This may not seem particularly exciting, but since neither of us can really cook, this is like a challange for us. We're thinking of key lime pie too, but neither of us can find gram crackers, which are in the recipe. I don't know what kind of country doesn't have gram crackers. How do they have cook outs? But anyway.

Today there is a funeral for a boy in my grade. At the matura ball (like prom) last week he had a heart attack. Afterwards, actually, at the bus stop. It's really sad. He lasted like a week at the hospital, but he had brain damage and couldn't make it. It's really sad. Everyone wore black to school today, and most of the class is going to the funeral.

I went to Vienna for another overnight thing a couple weeks ago. I don't know if I mentioned it in my last letter. It was fun, but my friend got her purse stolen.

Not much else is going on. I hope everyone in Florida is well.
