ok, ready to give my REPORT. so i think that Argentina is wow, i mean it is truely an eye-opening for me. Sometimes i look at myself and think look at where you are, by yourself, with no one that really knows who you really are. To me it is a great feeling. I love it!

So far i have been here for almost 3 months. My host family is like my own family, in that sence i mean i love them like my own. Last week was my birthday (sept. 1st) and they threw me a birthday party. It was really nice.   I had some friends over from school and the family.

School is boring. I have a lot of friends at school, but i just wish the school itself would put more effort into helping me and the other exchange students. Now i am looking for a teacher to help me with spanish out of school. I that i could do without a tutor, but it will help with writing and reading. Actually it will force me to.

I am making lots of friends in school and out of school. People here are very curious about the U.S.A. They like to hear me speak their language and English too.

I did a little traveling last week with Rotary. I went to Chaco, a provindince in Agentina, with 2 men from rotary, a girl that did an exchange to the states for a year, a guy that is here from the states, and myself driving to Chaco. It was about a 14 hour drive. One experience i will never forget. The whole purpose of that trip was to give a school supples for the children. You see Chaco in filled with poverty so a lot of the Rotarty clubs here put effort into gathering clothes, shoes, books, etc. I really liked it. Chaco is very beautiful and natural.

I really haven't felt homesick, maybe just for my dad and the weather. But it is normal. I am having trouble finding somewhere to scan pictures. I can send any with this e-mail, but maybe next week.

I have to go now someone has to use the phone.

your truely from Argentina,
April Tokash
