As students from past years know, Saturday night is the night for the campfire roundtable discussion about being an exchange student, and the time when the Outbounds are given their tentative country assignments. It is typically an emotional time where the good and bad of the program are discussed, and the Outbonds get the good news, for the most part, that they are going to the country that they wanted. This year was no exception as the discussions focused on the things the Outbounds need to be aware of, such as homesickness, host family and host sibling conflict, and such unpleasant matters, as well as some sound advice about being an active and involved student. Here are some pictures. |
